A VERY COVID CHRISTMAS is an original web series that was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sé Marie’s production company, AS/IF, decided to thwart the lack of production by creating something heartwarming and COVID-friendly. Synopsis:
A Very Covid Christmas is a heartwarming holiday tale about Molly (Sé Marie), a young woman with a passion for baking, as she navigates life and loneliness amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Molly has been quarantined alone for most of the year, and her career and relationships both hang in the balance. Just when everything seems ruined, hope enters in the form of new neighbor, Sam (Darrin Mosley, Jr). Can the magic of Christmas be saved?
The series explores themes of the sacrifices made, large and small, during a global pandemic, the hope that gets us all through, and the technology that brings us together. Molly is a representation of those who struggle daily with the small things, in an effort to simply maintain hope. As the holiday season approaches, we are all called upon to find magic in a new way this year!
